Works great! Well designed. I saw this on Jon Gadgets YouTube Channel. Had to have a couple.
I have a number of the previous Q1 connectors, they're great. But the V2 jumps ahead with automatic locking, not just alignment. Excellent design. Will be buying more to replace the older ones.
I like the Q1 V2 and especially the magnetic attachment feature. But I find it a bit hard to pull apart when needed as it's difficult to get a grip on one side. Maybe a small raised ridge around the longer piece would help this.
I would also like to see better packaging. The items come in boxes that do not tell what's inside and the small white bags should be clear, see-through. Overall, clever items but maybe some minor tweaks needed.
So far so good, it works perfectly.
I've been using the Victorinox Keychain Coupler for many, many years now (which I believe to be the original version of this concept) and have always sworn by it. However, I think I may now have just been converted.
The Q1 V2 takes this idea, updates it with magnets, reduces its footprint and makes it easier to use. The end result being a very nice solution for your coupling needs.
I use my one to attach my motorcycle key to my house keys. A necessity for any motorcyclist. This leave your key securely connected to your other keys when not riding, but being able to be separated from them in an instant when needed, leaving a single keys solution for the bike - avoiding having other items attached to scratch your paintwork. Fantastic. Every motorcyclist should have one of these.
