Glue needed — slot-in vials

Find what you need.
Leave the lights off.

Keys vanish into the dark. Zipper pulls all feel the same by touch. Gear disappears the moment the tent goes dark. The Grenade Fob puts six points of light on the exact thing you're reaching for — in whatever colors you choose.

Find your keys. Keep the lights off.
Six vials make one bright, unmistakable marker — the first thing you see when the room goes dark.
Go straight to the pocket you need.
Hang it on the zipper you use most; every other pull can stay lost in the dark.
Find your gear after lights out.
Tent door, headlamp, water bottle — clip it to whatever you reach for at 3 a.m.
Put one wherever you keep losing things.

Keys, pack, tent, flashlight, camera bag, dog leash — if you reach for it in the dark, it can carry a Grenade Fob. No charging before bed or a camping trip; the glow is simply there. It marks the item; it is not a flashlight.

Grenade Fob V2 glue-free tritium vial slots
01 — What's new in V2
Same size as V1. No glue, ever again.
V1 needed adhesive to hold each vial. V2 keeps the exact same dimensions and replaces the glue with an all-new internal slot structure: vials drop in and come out cleanly, with no mess and no damage to the tube. Swap one color, swap all six, change the whole look for the weekend — and change it back on Monday. Already own vials? Buy the shell and fill it yourself, or let us install for free.
CNC-machined Grade 5 titanium Grenade Fob body
02 — Material
CNC-machined Grade 5 titanium.
Real Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) — the alloy of jet engines and surgical implants, not coated alloy. Precision-machined so every groove of the grenade pattern lines up, and light enough to forget on a keyring. It won't rust, won't bend and won't age in your pocket.
Grenade Fob V2 on a keyring
03 — Carry
Compact, pocket-friendly, always within reach.
Same footprint as the original Grenade Fob, so it disappears on a keyring or a zipper pull and never snags in a pocket. Six vials in a body this small means more glow per gram than any single-vial fob — and the grenade silhouette is a statement on its own.

Why it never needs charging

Glow paint has to be charged under a light and fades within hours — usually before you need it. Tritium makes its own light: inside each sealed glass vial it excites a phosphor coating around the clock, whether the fob lives on your keys, in a pack pocket or at the bottom of a camping bin for months. Nothing to remember, nothing to switch on.

B-DECAY ELECTRONS TRITIUM GAS (H-3) PHOSPHOR COATING ON INNER WALL

Glows continuously for years

Hydrogen-3 undergoes natural beta decay inside a sealed glass vial, releasing low-energy electrons nonstop — day and night, whether you look at it or not.

Nothing to charge or maintain

Those electrons hit the phosphor coating on the inner glass wall and turn straight into visible light. No battery, no sunlight, no switch.

Sealed safely inside titanium

The phosphor keeps emitting a steady glow for up to 25 years, all self-contained. Swap in a fresh vial whenever you want it back at full strength.

When sealed, tritium vials are safe to handle. Their beta radiation is too weak to penetrate the glass vial and is easily blocked by paper. The same light sources are used in watches, exit signs and aviation instruments.

Why this isn't a $5 glow stick

Tritium vs photoluminescent glow paint — the difference is 25 years.

A few things worth knowing

Yes. The tritium is hermetically sealed inside borosilicate glass, inside titanium. Its low-energy beta radiation cannot penetrate the glass, let alone skin. The same light sources are used in watches, exit signs and aviation instruments. Just never open, cut or deliberately break the vial; if you ever suspect it's damaged, stop using the fob and contact us.
Think of it as a marker, not a flashlight: six clear, steady points of light you can spot across a dark room once your eyes adjust — enough to find keys, a zipper pull, a flashlight or a bag in total darkness. Brightness runs Green > Yellow > White > Orange > Ice Blue > Pink = Red > Purple; that's the physics of each phosphor, not a defect, so mix in Green or Yellow if reach matters more than color. It shows you where the item is; it won't light up a keyhole or the room around you. Photos can look brighter than the real thing because of camera exposure.
A tritium vial keeps glowing for years without any charging, with a useful glow life of up to 25 years depending on the color and where you view it. The glow softens gradually over that time rather than switching off; most owners find it practically useful for 15+ years. When you want it back at full strength, slot in a new vial — no glue — and keep the same titanium body. How tritium illumination works
The titanium body will shrug it off. The vials are sealed glass tubes: they sit securely in their slots, but a hard drop or impact on a hard surface can crack one. Because V2 is glue-free, a cracked vial is a one-minute swap rather than a write-off — replacement vials are available separately, and we install them free if you order them with a fob.
The vial sits inside the titanium body and very rarely breaks. If it does, nothing dangerous happens: tritium is a gas, so it spreads out and is gone. Why the risk is low A full-size 3 x 22.5 mm vial holds about 0.04 mg of tritium gas, and the small vials in the Grenade Fob each hold far less. Tritium gas is barely absorbed by the body and is mostly exhaled, so even the extreme case of inhaling that entire amount at once works out to roughly a few days of natural background radiation. In reality the gas spreads through the room in seconds and you breathe in only a tiny fraction of it, well below a single day of background. There is nothing to clean up beyond a bit of glass. Three things not to do
  • Do not crush, cut, drill or heat a vial on purpose.
  • Do not open a vial to reuse the phosphor. The gas is the useful part, and it is gone once the seal breaks.
  • Do not give loose vials to children. The glass is the hazard, not the tritium.
Same dimensions, completely new inside. V1 held its vials with adhesive; V2 uses an internal slot structure, so vials install and come out without glue and without damage. That makes mixing and changing colors part of the fun instead of a one-time decision. Watch the short above to see a vial go in.
Yes. Tritium keychains are consumer self-luminous products, not hazardous materials, and travel in carry-on or checked luggage. If you fly a route with unusual rules, the airline can confirm in a minute. FAA packing guidance
We own the CNC machines. Design, manufacturing and shipping are all in-house, and we sell directly to you. No middlemen, no distributor markup — your money goes into the titanium, the vial and the serviceable construction, not into someone else's margin.
It depends on the variant you choose. Any "6 x Colors" option includes the titanium fob and six tritium vials, installed for free before shipping. "6 x Custom Colors" lets you pick each slot; order them to match the Slot Diagram (Slots 1–6) in the product photos. "No Tritium (Shell Only)" is the titanium housing without vials, for customers who already own vials or want to source their own — and if you buy vials from us separately, we still install them for free. Other keys, clips and accessories shown in photos are not included.
The vials are securely installed in the titanium housing, but they are glass, so we ask every owner to do a quick check as soon as the parcel arrives. It takes a minute:
  1. Open the box and, within five calendar days of the delivery date, take the fob into a completely dark room.
  2. Let your eyes adjust for 30 seconds and confirm all six tubes glow steadily.
  3. Look over each tube for cracks or chips.
  4. Spotted a problem? Email us with photos of the fob and the original packaging, and we'll sort out a replacement.
Every vial is inspected before shipping, which is why the check is quick: the warranty covers tubes that arrive damaged or non-glowing. Once the fob is in use — on a keyring, in a pocket or bag, or dropped — cracks, breakage or dimming from impacts and daily wear are not covered. The titanium body is unaffected, and thanks to the glue-free slots a replacement vial is an easy swap. Email Antdesign support
Shipping options and delivery estimates are shown at checkout. Our 30-day return policy has eligibility conditions, including original, unopened packaging; contact us before sending a return. The tritium vials have their own arrival-check terms — see the answer above. Full details: Shipping & Returns.

Well Machined and Quality Ti Tritium Fob

Well machined and quality titanium tritium glow fob. Item itself was a little physically smaller than I thought it would be but is still OK. Only issue i had was trying to get the Tritium tubes to stay in place while sliding the cover up over them to hold them in place. I supplied my own tritium but price wasn't bad. S&H seemed held up for a few days but once I email CS about the package not moving they got it shipped out that day from Spain.

Initially I was sent the Titanium Glow Fob (Which is the bigger, more expensive tritium keychain) so i contacted customer service and stated the issue. Support was beyond my expectation and was told i could keep the Glow Fob they mistaken sent and would send out the correct item I ordered immediately. I am happy to say the order was completed extreamly fast and now i have 1 Titanium Grenade Glow fob and 1 Titanium cylinder Glow fob. Both are well crafted with precision and give excellent protection for the tritium tubes. I used the larger one for the small purple tritium tube until the Grenade arrive, though over size still was decent at providing protection for the little tube. I now how an order for a larger tritium tube for the larger glow fob and 2 more of the small tubes to add to the Grenade. Im now hooked and want more and will purchase again from Ant Design because i know im going to get excellent service and top notch product from these guys. Mucho Gracias mi Espania amagos!

Amazing micro Titanium Grenade Fob

This Grenade Glow Fob V2 is smaller than I expected. It is smaller than a jumbo blueberry. It is good as a zipper pull. The quality is excellent! Thanks for the patch, I collect them too. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

a nice thing

A really good product

I have it as a necklace pendant, and it looks really great.

Unfortunately, I only ordered one glow-in-the-dark stick and not six as I thought. I didn't notice it, and it was hidden in the description that there was only one per pack, so I had to order five more.
